Unfortunately I was retrenched last year and was forced to be in the job market again. I'm in IT and as you there are a lot of people that have studied this profession, the market is quite strained. I emailed my CV to about 20 different recruiting agencies. Abacus was the first to call me and Abacus contacted me only 3 hours later, initially I was amazed at how quickly you phoned me. An interview was set-up and I came through to your offices where I was interviewed. Although I didn't find a job immediately the whole process took about 6 weeks. The consultant was in constant contact with me regarding the various available positions, interviews even when things were quiet the consultant would phone just to see how I am and keep my confidence high as job hunting can be very stressful. Eventually the consultant placed me at one of your clients where I'm currently employed and are very happy. Abacus was there every step of the way from the initial first interview all the way down to the salary negotiation and any related problems once I started working. I just want to say thank you to all who were involved for great service. You guys are definitely the leader in IT Recruitment. I haven't seen or experienced this type of service from a recruiting agency before. WORLD CLASS! Even if things can take a while due to various reasons it is the small things that you do that make a huge difference like the checkup phone calls and e-mails you send or the interview tips we receive before entering the interview that sets you apart from the rest.
